Most clients, especially those who have not been through the criminal court system before, have many questions:

  • How does the system work?
  • What is going to happen to me?
  • What are the consequences for my family?

In this case, my client was facing drug charges, including first degree maintaining a cocaine production facility, and other related offenses.  She could have been sentenced to more than twenty years in prison.

Step One

My first step when meeting with a new client is to reassure them that I will personally work tirelessly and give their case the proper attention it deserves in order to successfully defend against the accusations against them.

I came to Mr. Sisto while an active warrant was pending for my arrest.  I was in danger of losing my child and my freedom.  Mr. Sisto was there to answer all of my questions and guide me through the long process from initially helping to arrange my surrender and bail posting to the ultimate dismissal of my charges.  Mr. Sisto promised me he would do everything in his power to keep me out of jail.  He did that and more.  —Angela C.

Step Two

Once the client is comfortable, it’s time for me to get down to work.

This is the point where I dig into their case, by thoroughly researching the facts and the law underlying the charges. I carefully examine what steps were taken to collect evidence to determine if the evidence on file was obtained legally. Often times, our defense plan lies within these small details.

In this case, I was able to successfully challenge the warrant search of her home. As a result, all charges were dismissed.

All of the charges against me, including the first degree drug charges and second degree endangering the welfare of a child were dismissed.  I didn’t even have to pay a fine.    He came highly recommended from a close family member and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone facing serious charges.  —Angela C.
